This weeks "Sweet Treat"
The last two weeks I've featured some yummy treats on the blog and on my Facebook page, here , but this week I wanted to feature something a little different. I have been LONGING for Fall to get here, (just like I do 2 weeks before the start of every season) and so I decided I was going to whip up some autumn décor that fits my personal style. You see I am not a brown, orange and red that you see in EVERYTHING fall out there... So I looked at what I had, and went to the closest material aisle and made some fun little extras! I am so pleased with how they turned out! I decided to make them my sweet treat this week and offer them in lieu of something sweet to your taste buds. I make them custom to your personal color scheme and pattern preference. Hope to be a busy bee making them for some fellow fall anticipators!
Set of 3 stuffed Pumpkins- $25
Set of 3 Flour Sack Towels- $18
By together and get it all for $38
Save yourself $5 and get a slew of fun fall décor!

Caramel apples
So, a couple weeks ago while advertising my chocolate covered strawberries, (henceforth referred to as ccs) , I got an email from a lady who was not interested in ccs, but in Chocolate covered caramel apples. Well, I've made a caramel a ton of times for different things, and even a caramel apple or two in my time, but this wasn't something I usually advertised as a service I offered. Nonetheless I made this lady a couple apples and the first one she ate she said she loved, the second one she ate (Almost a week later) she raved about! I was very glad that my product went over well with her. She has already requested I make her more. So very glad I can make my clients happy! Here is a little photo of the apples I made last week. They were definitely fun to make!
I have made up a price list of the different apples I offer as follows
Caramel- $5.50
Tuxedo- (pictured) $6
Pecan/Peanut covered- $6
Butterfinger, Skittles, or Lemonhead pieces- $6.50
If you would like to place an order of these or any other products I order, feel free to call, text or email me at

Fruit Bouquets- not your average edible arrangement... :)
So I have tried my hand at making these lovelies, and I thoroughly enjoy making them! There is something about not only making the yummy chocolate covered strawberries, but arranging them in an artsy way! I love the fresh option of a fruit bouquet, versus that of a floral one. {Don't tell my husband! Keep them flowers coming honey!}
[Prices for each arrangement are marked under the photo!]
{Please disregard the messiness in the background of some of these photos. sadly sometimes the only photo I snap of the arrangements are just after they are finished, before I have had a chance to stage a good photo op :/ }

Laila Bug's 1st birthday!
This Lady bug themed birthday party was so fun! From start to finish, I enjoyed doing this event! Sadly the one photo I was unable to snap was of the treat table, which in my opinion was super cute! non the less I loved the green, red, black and white colors of this party and not to mention how cute is the birthday girl?! AHHHdorable! Enjoy!
Impromptu Baby "Shower" for the Hendersons
Well, its been a few MONTHS since my last post on the Blog, but I thought I'd bring it up to speed with the last few things Sweet Events has been up to. So, here we go!
I was asked about 2 weeks before a scheduled baby shower to decorate for it. They said nothing big just whatever I could whip up in that amount of time. I have been known to throw a party together in a days notice but this one was different. It was for a sweet lady I go to church with, who has always been so kind and encouraging, and a little crazy, to me and I love her dearly. So of course I said, "yes!" and here are the pictures I was able to snap right before the party on my phone.
{Forgive the quality. I am taking donations for the purchase of a nice camera :) }
