GLOW event

This was an event that me, along with 3 other women in the church pulled together for the girls in the church. GLOW is Girls Leaning On the Word and I had the honor and pleasure of hosting the first event in my home. The theme was rainbow colors, to represent the beauty that is in diversity. That was why I made the rainbow cake towers. Super fun to make and they got good reviews on their taste! The spread was wonderful and we have a fun time from the multicolored plates to the Snapple turned drinking glasses, complete with chalkboard labels for the names. The proof is in the puddin:

This was a super fun event and I love that it was something these girls got something out of, and I am very proud to be a part in something like this!

Sweet tooth!!

Had an order for some cake pops and chocolate covered strawberries that I filled today. Was told to make the pops colorful and fun so I used a rainbow of colors for them: I really love the colors and how they turned out:

I also made 6 dozen cupcakes for my last day at work for the kids. I'll miss them but I wanted them to have something SWEET to remember me by.

 BTW those are NERDS candy on top!!

All in all these to projects turned out great! Had a blast making them!

Its a "Party" party

So today I was thinking, how am I to show off my mad event skills other than pictures on the blog or maybe some word of mouth? And then it hit me, well actually it was my son because I wasn't paying attention to him while I was in deep thought, but none the less I thought why not have a Party and invite all my fans {or future fans} on Facebook to it and they can see first hand what I gots up my sleeve. So, there is no date set yet, but sometime soon I am going to have a PARTAY and it will be a "Taste and see that it is good" kind of party. I have several events, not for business, that I am involved with in the next couple months so I will have to hold out on this extravaganza for a bit, but I am super excited about this idea!
